From Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT you'll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion.
Blizzard has temporarily taken down Diablo III's closed beta servers after an apparent glitch opened up a "Starter Edition" of the game to anyone with a Battle.net account for a brief period earlier this morning.
There are "Starter Editions" to Blizzards other big games, World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2 so it comes as no surprise that there would be something similar for Diablo 3.

In response to an inquiry from a fan via Twitter, which asked simply "can you confirm or deny Diablo 3 coming to consoles?" community manager "Bashiok" responded "Yup. Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project." More specific details have yet to be announced.
Blizzard has job listing for console developers for its Diablo 3 team, which leads one to assume that they are planning console versions of Diablo 3. Blizzard explains that they are still focused on the Mac and PC version of the game, and any console version will not delay the game further.
