Along with the newly updated Xbox LIVE Dashboard, Microsoft has released a new iOS app for Xbox LIVE members. This will probably be Microsoft’s most popular iOS app.

Video calls work over both WiFi and 3G.

The new app is compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4th generation with i0S 4.0 or above. You can also receive video calls on the iPod touch 3rd generation and iPad. Calls can be made between devices using the new Skype for iPhone app and desktops including Skype for Windows 4.2 and above, Skype for Mac 2.8 and above, Skype for Linux and the ASUS videophone.

This makes perfect sense for Apple to put their own products behind the Mac App Store.

Slide To Play has a handful of screenshots for the upcoming game running on the Unreal Engine. It looks like a full fledged console game and it's coming to your iOS device this holiday season.

OS X Lion will include iOS style home screens and folders with Launchpad, as well as a new Mission Control function that integrates Expose, Spaces and Dashboard. But the biggest news so far for Lion, is the Mac App Store, so big in fact that Apple can't wait until the summer 2011 launch of Lion. The Mac App Store will be launched on Snow Leopard in the next 90 days.
